Head of Quality

The Head of Quality is responsible for leadership and direction of all aspects of the Quality function and will ensure an appropriate level of compliance for RedHill’s commercial, clinical, and development activities. This role will establish quality plans and policies, and design, implement and maintain a QA/QC infrastructure. This role will also provide strategic perspective and direction based on expert and up-to-date understanding of GxP quality systems and industry best practices for Corporate Quality initiatives. 

This position will be in the Raleigh, NC Office.  Relocation assistance may be available. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus in Life Sciences
  • At least 10 years of relevant and current work experience in the pharmaceutical industry Quality Assurance.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated management experience with evidence of being an impactful, influential, and involved leader.
  • Excellent communication skills and abilities to collaborate with and present to individuals of varying levels of authority.
  • Solid and demonstrable knowledge of international GxP regulations and guidelines, industry practices, and experience implementing quality systems in a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of GxP international regulations.
  • Ability to express self clearly and concisely to key stakeholders; document issues and/or concerns concisely and comprehensively; adjust style, language and/or terminology appropriate for the audience.
