Associate Director/Director, Consumer and HCP Digital Strategy

The Associate Director/Director, Consumer and HCP Digital Strategy will lead digital strategy and activation across the brand portfolio, leverage existing and emerging channels, help develop the organization’s digital marketing capabilities, and ensure best practices are applied across campaigns.

This position will be located in our Raleigh, NC office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, MBA preferred. A minimum of five years of strategic digital marketing/consumer/advertising experience required. Strong knowledge of best practices in digital media, email marketing, and website optimization. Strong knowledge of website and advertising analytic tools. Versatile, adaptive and able to perform in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment that embraces change. Direct experience in supporting new product launches in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. Ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.  Persistent, dedicated and focused on creating customer and team success that leads to individual success. Travel of up to 30% may be required.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive best in class digital media strategies that align to brand goals and maximize business results for brand indications. Ensure media plans are aligned to brand strategy and appropriately implemented and optimized across all digital channels.

Lead contact for day-to-day communication with outside marketing/media agencies and partners. Manages agency talent utilization across brand portfolio in close collaboration with brand leaders.

Maintain strict compliance with advertising standards.

Leverage existing and emerging channels to deliver a balanced multi-channel strategy that is customer-centric, data driven, engaging and performance based.

Identify and share media best practices and benchmarks across brand indications and contribute to broader sharing across the portfolio. Build best practice documents and learning modules to support upcoming launches and learning across various skill levels.

Lead execution of digital brand campaigns, tactics, and programs to drive business impact and meet objectives.

Clearly establish targets and KPIs for every HCP/consumer digital marketing campaign and ensure capture and communication of performance metrics.

Monitor project status and budget and provide regular reporting on progress, challenges, and solutions.

Collaborate closely with the Compliance Department to ensure that all Legal and Federal Regulatory requirements are maintained in the development and implementation of all commercial materials and messages by use of employees during HCP and patient interactions. 

Collaborate with Sales Training to ensure optimal rollout and executing of new digital material and initiatives.
