Manager, Marketing Operations

The Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for supporting the Marketing function. This support includes development and management of US speaker programs and national convention activities, sales meeting and event management, working with external agencies, and onboarding of TCs and RSMs.

This position is in our Raleigh, NC office.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an office management or sales operations role.  Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, excellent follow-through, highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, flexible to meet shifting priorities. Travel of up to 10%.  

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing and managing all US speaker program activities. This includes building and maintaining a list of current speakers and speaker CVs, speaker contracts, speaker program scheduling, budgeting/budget management, slide materials and presentation/meeting logistics. Speaker platforms include live and online speaker program activities.

Developing and managing national convention activities. This includes managing and overseeing the development of booths and displays and related delivery, set-up and billing logistics. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring the delivery and stocking of promotional materials and managing booth manufacturing and storage (if applicable). This position also manages contracts with external vendors and ensures that all expenditures align with planned budgets.

Collaborating with the Marketing team, advertising agency and external vendors to produce, inventory and bill for printed and electronic promotional materials. This includes managing inventory levels, ensuring inventory is not out-of-date, re-ordering materials, establishing new orders for new materials, and acting as the primary contact for external production partners.

Onboarding new Territory Consultants, Regional Sales Managers and home office employees. The incumbent is responsible for ordering business cards, name badges, and other new hire needs.  In addition, success in this role requires the ability to work cross-functionally within the organization across a variety of areas such as Training, Sales, Finance, Medical Affairs, Compliance and IT.
 

Sales Meeting & Event Management.  Manage hotel contracts, food and beverage requirements, rooming lists and any transportation needs for any meeting including IST Training classes, national conferences (ACG & DDW) and launches.
