Market Access Medical Science Liaison

The Market Access Medical Science Liaison is responsible for developing programs, activities and relationships, both externally and internally to RedHill Biopharma, in order to advance the value and clinical knowledge of our products to the payer community.  The Market Access MSL will develop programs, activities and relationships, both externally and internally to RedHill Biopharma, in order to advance the value and clinical knowledge of our products to the payer community.  The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling all aspects of the Market Access MSL role pertaining to payer and formulary support, opinion leader development, value development (including HEOR) support, and product support. 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctoral or advanced-level degree in a Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, or scientific field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with at least 2 years working in a payer environment or working with payers.
  • Travel of up to 80% required.
  • Provide Payers with clinical education support through value and medical presentations that focus on therapeutic as well as economic outcomes and utilization aspects of products, and in clinical policy discussions such as evidence-based medicine, clinical guidelines and prior authorizations in areas where RedHill has therapeutic expertise.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Payer, Policy, and Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) opinion leaders.
  • Interact with key internal stakeholders to provide feedback on customer trends in interpreting and using value-based evidence, reimbursement and payer policy.
  • Take lead on HEOR strategies that aligned with the business and patient needs to develop compelling value proposition that drives optimal access and utilization of RedHill products.
  • Scientific and medical conference attendance and support in the Medical Affairs booth for the company.
  • Provide complex value-based technical information inclusive of medical education, health outcomes and Pharmacoeconomics information and models and research protocol opportunities to appropriate audiences.
  • Training of Market Access team on scientific, clinical results and important safety information regarding company products.
  • Represent RedHill Biopharma Medical Affairs to all payer accounts; Commercial, Federal and State Medicaid.
  • Foster scientific information exchange as it relates to reimbursement and coverage policy between the medical community and RedHill.
