The Sr. Manager, Associate Director or Director, Market Access Operations is a leader on the Market Access Team that is responsible for driving the overall execution and managing the ongoing operations for Market Access for all RedHill Biopharma products and co-promote products. This includes, but is not limited to, co-pay programs, provider and patient support services, and analytics. This role will provide valuable strategic input into RedHill Biopharma.  This individual will need to combine expertise in process management and prescriber/patient/account insights. This role will be responsible for creating and utilizing disease specific patient journeys with knowledge to identify financial support needs and develop appropriate solutions. This role will help to manage the payer rebate submission process while working closely with external vendors/contractors and internal stakeholders such as account management teams, Finance, and the Executive Team, ensuring compliance with all RedHill and regulatory policies. This position is in our Raleigh, NC office.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required: MBA/MPH preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with payers in varied roles of increasing responsibility with at least two (2) years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Very strong leadership experiences, e.g. influencing without authority, leading matrixes cross functional teams are required.
  • Travel of up to 20% may be required.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for design, continuous improvement, and performance monitoring of the reimbursement support/patient services HUB, patient assistance programs (PAP), and specialty pharmacy network.
  • Develop and execute all patient onboarding processes, resources, and support in conjunction with internal and external partners.
  • Manage external vendors that supply support and data specific to Market Access to ensure key performance metrics are met.
  • Develop reporting, analytics, and data to ensure strategic planning and alignment with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Enhance the customer experience via benchmarking and external and internal customer feedback.
  • Troubleshoot/research payer-specific reimbursement challenges as well as other field sourced issues.
  • Assist with all contract processes in conjunction with internal and external partners.

  • Assist with analysis, proactively identify and quantify the opportunities for new contracting opportunities, contracts that may be over or under performing, and providing input to forecasts.
  • Stay abreast of the changing conditions in market and product portfolio to ensure that patient service’s activities reflect actual business/organizational needs while meeting the needs of the target audience and maintaining highest quality of service.
  • Identify and address training, performance, and competency needs of vendor and sales force to ensure achievement of business objectives. Continuously assess performance and work environment needs against business need. Identify external and internal factors impacting performance and develop a plan to address them.
  • Partner with National Account Executive’s to communicate with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Sales Leadership, and representatives regarding account-specific programs, activities, and pull-through/push-through initiatives. Coordinates and manages all pull-through/push-through activities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Legal, Regulatory, Analytics, Sales, Market Access field teams, and others to ensure optimal execution of patient access and reimbursement strategy.
  • Understand and analyze program data to effectively communicate information on a consistent basis to different functional areas in the commercial organization (Executive Team, field teams, Marketing, Market Access).
  • Supports RedHill Biopharma’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy, and adheres to all regulatory and company policy requirements. 
  • Work with Medical, Marketing, and MSLs to develop clinical and economic messaging to present to MCO target accounts.
