Sr. Manager/Associate Director/Director, Market Access Rebate Contracting & Analytics

The Sr. Manager/Associate Director/Director Market Access Rebate Contracting & Analytics is responsible for driving the overall execution and managing the contracts operations for Market Access throughout the contract lifecycle. It is expected that this role will provide valuable strategic input to RedHill Biopharma. This individual will need to combine expertise in Finance, Market Access PBM/Payer/Plan business models, and process management. The role will be able to lead financial modeling exercises for proposals as well as verification of the reimbursement process with knowledge to identify financial support needs and develop appropriate solutions. This role will help to manage the payer rebate submission process by working closely with external vendors/contractors and internal stakeholders such as account management teams, Finance, the Executive Team, ensuring compliance with all RedHill and regulatory policies. This position is in our Raleigh, NC office.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with payers in varied roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Demonstrated organizational and analysis skills are required. Finance and strong communication skills are strongly desired.
  • Strong leadership experiences, e.g. influencing without authority and leading cross functional teams are required.
  • Travel of up to 20% may be required.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for design, continuous improvement, and performance monitoring of the contract lifecycle from initial development through continuation/termination.
  • Develop and lead all contract processes and support in conjunction with internal and external partners.
  • Develop reporting, analytical and data sources to ensure strategic planning and alignment with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Troubleshoot/research payer-specific contract issues.
  • Based on analysis, proactively identify and quantify the opportunities for new contracting opportunities, contracts that may be over or under performing, and providing input to forecasts.
  • Stay abreast of the changing conditions in market and product portfolio to ensure that contracting activities reflect actual business/organizational needs while meeting the needs of the target audience and maintaining highest quality of service.
  • Collaborate with National Account Executive’s, Marketing, Training, Legal, Regulatory, Analytics, Sales, and others to ensure optimal execution of patient access and reimbursement strategy.
  • Understand and analyze contract data to effectively communicate information across functional areas in the commercial organization (Executive Team, field teams, Marketing, Market Access).
  • Create dashboards, presentations, and reports as needed to facilitate contract related communication across the enterprise.
  • Support RedHill Biopharma’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to all regulatory and company policy requirements.
  • Clear understanding of the implications of payer and reimbursement policy impact on prescriber and patient behaviors as well as sales force activity.
