Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the leadership of the Business Intelligence function, decision support, and commercial analytics. This individual is accountable for sourcing, developing, and delivering analytical insights surrounding RedHill’s product portfolio. He/she is a thought leader for assimilating and visualizing analytical concepts and refining complex, matrixed processes to capture a broad range of expertise with efficiency, synthesizing complex business data into actionable business insights. Partner with different functional groups both within the Commercial organization (including Marketing, Sales Operations, IT, Sales) and across other departments (Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Trade) to understand and influence business decisions.

This position is in our Raleigh, NC office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA with emphasis in Finance, Business, or Life Sciences. A minimum of 3 years of experience in life sciences; particularly pharmaceutical industry. Experience working with business teams to understand and define problems for analysis; experience dealing with ambiguous business problems and translating them into feasible analytic exercises to provide answers. Experience with analytical techniques used for data analysis, exploration, and forecasting. Experience using visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis. Experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau or other BI tools. 5+ years of experience working in an analytical/research environment. 3+ years demonstrated experience, with increasing responsibility, in analytics roles.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with common data processing libraries in Python, such as Pandas and NumPy. Experience writing VBA scripts and/or building Data Models in PowerPivot. Experience using PowerPoint to create impactful data messaging.

Knowledge of various data source such as Xponent, APLD, DDD, HCOS (from IMS), Specialty Data, Calls, Sample, Claims, etc.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

Partner with Commercial teams to identify KPI’s and other critical questions.

Partner with IT to help design our Data warehouse.

Manage design, development and implementation analytics solutions using Tableau, Power BI, etc.

Provide guidance to drive data investments to optimize resourcing.

Support Sales Operations in evaluating sales force effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve

Maintain historical forecast history, evaluate forecast accuracy and recommend enhancements to the forecasting and performance tracking process.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of strategic and promotional efforts, projects, and practices to identify opportunities to optimize the value of investments.

Implement visualization tools to communicate ideas and insights to leadership and sales team.

Provide ad hoc and recurring data analysis and reports to the commercial organization and senior management.

Provide orientation and training to end users for all business intelligence tools.
